The chakra system are a powerful system that holds ancient wisdom and important health intelligence. The different chakras refer to various energy centers in your body that correspond to specific nerve bundles and internal organs. The seven major chakras run from the base of your spine to the top of your head. Chakra translates to "wheel" in Sanskrit, and you can imagine them like wheels of free-flowing positive energy. If these energy centers get blocked, you may experience physical or emotional symptoms related to a particular chakra. Maybe you have already have heard about “balancing the chakra”, which refers to the idea that when all of our chakras are open, energy can run through them freely, and harmony exists between the physical body, mind, and spirit.
